Wedding photo & video across Ohio
Ohio coverage on this site starts in Cleveland, where the Cleveland Cultural Gardens fill Rockefeller Park with 38 public gardens, each commemorating an ethnic group2. A photographer and a videographer work as one crew, an independent partner is matched to your date and place, and the contract you sign is with that partner.
In Cleveland, location rules matter as much as the sunlight: ceremonies in the Cultural Gardens need a City of Cleveland special use permit, and Cleveland Metroparks limit ceremonies in shared-use areas to 50 guests or fewer34. The Cleveland page sets these out beside the license steps.
If your wedding is elsewhere in Ohio, send the town and the date on the form and we will say whether we can match a partner photographer to it.
Locations in Ohio
Our Ohio location is Cleveland. The page lists the lakefront, bridge and park stops we use, the sunrise and sunset by month, and the Cuyahoga County license requirements, together with the two permit rules that decide where a ceremony can happen. The price list is written for the place you name, with travel built in, so tell us the venue town on the form.
Ohio marriage license basics
Ohio licenses come from the county probate court, under Ohio Revised Code 3101.05, and the law sets no waiting period1. Both parties apply in person at the probate court of the county where either of them lives. If neither is an Ohio resident, you apply where the marriage will be solemnized, and the marriage may be solemnized only in that county1.
A probate judge may grant the license at any time after the application is made, and each applicant presents documentary proof of age and provides a Social Security number1. In Cuyahoga County the fee is $60, the license is valid for 60 days, and online pre-registration is mandatory before the in-person visit5. The Cleveland page has the address and the residency rule.

Ohio questions
01How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer in Ohio?
As soon as your date and place are set. Ohio sets no waiting period and a probate judge may grant the license at any time after the application is made1, so the paperwork never forces your timeline. Where a permit is involved, such as the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, it must be requested at least 10 business days ahead3.
02Do you travel to Ohio, and is travel included?
Travel is built into the quote for the locations we list, and the price list is written for the place you name. One rule to settle early: if neither of you lives in Ohio, you apply in the county where the ceremony will take place and may marry only in that county1.
03Can we book photo and video together in Ohio?
Yes. Every collection comes as photo, video or both, made by one team on the day, so there is one schedule and one set of portrait stops. Choose Photo + Video on the form and the price list covers both, with the same partner on the camera and the sound.
04How many photos do we receive, and when?
That depends on how long we cover and how the day unfolds, and your partner states it in the contract. The order never changes: a sneak peek within days, then the full gallery and the film on the dates your contract sets, which you can ask about on the first call.
